Patient First Primary and Urgent Care - Denbigh

When I went in to be seen on Thursday morning they tried to charge me $50 instead of the usual $30. The Dr was nice and did a good job. Today, Sat I called in to let them know that I was getting higher fever and my cough was worse. The receptionist would not help transfer my call. Very rude and uncaring. Took me several minutes and 4 calls into the clinic to get a nurse. Although I probably need to go in now, I probably.would say something ugly to the uncaring receptionist. I think all personal involved in medical need to be professional people

Patient First saw me at night for emergency stitches and told me they took my Aetna Insurance. Aetna also checked and said I was covered. Patient First then billed the insurance company incorrectly as an Office Visit with no referral instead of Urgent Care and made me pay cash for entire visit a month later. Insurance company filed two appeals on my behalf but Patient First thew them out! I will never use them again!

They seem to give good fast service.They are providing a place for minor illness and for serious ilness to be evaluated and determined.
