Went looking for alcohol free hair styling products. Few to choose from. Finally picked 3, since signs say buy 2 get 1 free. Doesn't ring up free. Cashier has no idea which might not be included. All had signs under them. Manager clueless, lost her list of what was included. Noth rude, so left. Now I remember why I haven't been in a long time.

Been to this store multiple times but noticed the customer service was degrading each time I was there. Many times I left because there was no one able to answer questions, if you can find someone. Several months ago while there I asked the girl at check out if they could correct my last name as it is always wrong. Her response was, "you are getting the flyers aren't you?" I left without buying anything. Went in 8/1/2015, sale signs all over the store. I picked up two items which came to over $65. I was told at the counter they wouldn't be on sale until the next day. That information is relatively small on the sale sign was SALE is very large. Deceptive practices? Guess they have their butts covered as it is on the sign. It was less that 24 hours until the sale but they wouldn't give me a break. I actually needed both items so I bought them. I won't be shopping there any longer.

Should've gone to Ulta, at least the workers aren't thieves.
Basically the other day I left my wallet in the store, (I know, my fault.), and I bought some products. I used my best friend's card to buy them since I couldn't find my wallet and thought I just left it in the car. I left, looked in the car for my wallet, couldn't find it, and thought it maybe at my house.
I went home to look and it was not there of course. Just about 6 hours later I called the store, the women on the phone said they had it. I immediately went to go pick it up.
I didn't use my wallet that day, so I did not realize that $50 in cash was missing.
I realized it was missing the next day, and called the store. The women on the phone told me that no customer other than myself had come in until after noon. (For the record, I walked in the store at 11:28am, and the time on my receipt of checking out was 11:36, so figure Ieft the store at 11:37am.)
Now, someone also said that the wallet was in the back office by the time she got to work, which was right at noon.
Take into consideration that THERE WERE NO OTHER CUSTOMERS BETWEEN THE TIME MY WALLET WAS MISPLACED THERE, AND THE TIME IT WAS FOUND AND ALREADY PLACED IN THE BACK OFFICE.
At this point the workers basically admitted that it HAD to be one of them to take it.
One worker also stated that they knew that no other customers were in because of the security cameras being viewed.
The general manager Ang, Angie, what the hell ever, was spoken with. She was nothing but rude and defensive. After explaining what I said earlier, I asked about the possibility of a worker taking it. She replied, "No that wouldn't be possible because a manager picked it up."
Um, last time I checked managers are people too and can F up. A manager could do it easily because there was no security cameras pointing to the part of the store my wallet was left.
After Ang(ie) was informed about the future police report I was going to make, she proceeded to say that it would be useless since her footage is confidential, and that they would have to talk to her and only her, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS NOT THERE THE DAY THE WALLET WAS. She was only spoken to the day I realized the money was gone, and I just went in asking to speak to the GM.
I followed up that visit to the Normal Police Department with a witness, and action is going to be taken.
Needless to say, I'm sticking with Ulta.

The minute you walk in, there is someone to help you with whatever you're looking for. I went in for a haircut and brow wax(I had made an appt but they accept walk-ins too) and I was offered a drink before the cut started. My stylists' name was Sarah. She did an awesome job and made sure to ask me what I wanted every step of the way and checked that I was satisfied each time. Sarah also did my eyebrows. Normally when I get mine done the person just has me lay down and they have at it. Sarah gave me options: clean-up, shaving, thinning, arc, etc. I chose a clean-up and I got one. Sarah was very gentle and made sure I was happy with the results. I did look around the store a couple minutes but I wasn't in need of anything at the time so I went to check out. The price? Just $25 for the hair cut and I believe it was $13 for the brows. I highly recommend Beauty Brands(Especially Sarah).
