Located in North Haverhill, N.H., Grafton County Nursing Home is a nonprofit, licensed, more than 130-bed, skilled and intermediate care facility. It also has a 30-bed special needs unit. It is a health care provider offering a wide variety of services, including physicians and nurse practitioners, on-site social workers, dentists, beauticians, podiatrists, rehabilitation therapists and dieticians. It also offers hospital and emergency services, and community volunteer programs. It has an Alzheimer's disease care unit that provides medical, psychological, social and recreational facilities. The agency has a volunteer program that provides its residents various facilities, such as assistance, cards and board games, group activities and special events, including bingo, bowling, boating and parties, and trips to the circus and fairs.
