Items that are not accepted include: wood, pallets, woodshake shingles; metal (flashing, gutters); plastic or vinyl; paper waste; mastic or plastic roofing cement; rolled roofing materials (excess felt); other garbage, trash or dirt; nail coils.
Residential Roof Repair
You can find a small, non-exclusive, list of contractors who recycle with us here. This is not an all-inclusive list. We suggest that while shopping around for a roofing contractor you ask in advance if they recycle shingles. If youâ€™ve already decided on a contractor, who doesnâ€™t currently recycle, direct them to contact us (or our website) for information on how to start! In addition to the environmental impact recycling has, thereâ€™s the added incentive that, per ton, itâ€™s cheaper to recycle shingles than to dump them at the landfill!
