Very professional treatment of addiction recovery for people with long term / chronic pain. I had been given opiates for years after fracturing my neck in 4 places. After the regular Dr. decided he needed help, he sent me to the pain center for alternative therapy. All they did was increase the amounts of opiates by more than 3 times what my GP had been proscribing. Soon I felt like a zombie & went for depression counseling, once the therapist heard what the pain clinic was doing she had me stop going there and get on suboxone. I feel it saved my life. Unfortunately the first clinic I went to, even though I was a voluntary patient who never relapsed or made deals in their parking lot (like about half this other pittsfield ma clinics clients) they treated me like dirt. I found that if you just go there, sit quietly, do as you are asked to, stay clean, & cause no drama, they do not like you. If you are loud, flirt with the front desk girls, & fail urine screens, they will love you
