I will work creatively with you as you move through challenges and find new energy and inspiration in your life. We will work together to decrease your current distress as quickly as possible, while helping you to gain deeper insight and move forward positively in your life. I tailor my therapeutic approach to fit your specific needs and current situation, utilizing a variety of therapeutic strategies such as hypnotherapy, EMDR, stress management, relaxation, mindfulness training, CBT, and brief solution-focused therapy. I am trained in a wide range of therapeutic perspectives and interventions. My theoretical orientation is integrative, drawing from solution-oriented, humanistic, existential, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and Jungian perspectives. My personality is warm, supportive, relaxed, interactive, and humorous. I have been a licensed psychologist since 1989 and have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. I have practiced in Arizona, Brighton, England, and California. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, with people from diverse backgrounds and of all ages.
