When The Elwood Corporation was founded in 1973, it specialized in designing and manufacturing electronic and electrical control systems machinery for manufacturers in Racine, Wis. More than 30 years later, the company has grown to include six divisions that perform a variety of services for machine industry. Elwood Mark 2 designs and manufactures robotic and secondary automation for the plastic injection molding industry. Elwood-Gettys manufactures servo and stepper motors. Elwood Fluid Power designs and manufactures high-pressure hydraulic valves and systems for water, soluble oil and other low-viscosity applications in the steel and aluminum mill, petroleum decoking and forging press industries. Elwood Wyco manufactures industrial flexible shaft machines for grinding, polishing and fish descaling. Elwood HVC manufactures a variety of high-voltage, disc-style ceramic capacitors, and Elwood Electronics produces photoelectric controls, solenoids and control systems. Headquartered in Oak Creek, Wis., The Elwood Corporation is an ISO 9001:2000-registered company.
