Heritage Park Golf Course

Heritage Park driving range is one of the most beautiful in the area you will never get to use. The slightest hint of rain and the staff will close it. Don't try to use the range on Wednesday evenings either. That's right, closed for maintenance. But it works out if you have a round scheduled because the time you would spend hitting balls, you will spend waiting on the herds of people packed on the coarse at once. TWICE I HAVE BEEN ON PACE FOR SIX A HOUR ROUND before quitting at the turn. I have lived less than one mile away for five years now, and would rather drive to the Gardner goat ranch Sycamore Hills in Spring Hill, or Prairie Highlands. I am done with these fools.

This is a really fun course, but they really ask a lot for green fees. It is not a top-of-the-line Overland Park area course, just average for around here. If they dropped their rates, I think people would be happier and would come back more often - at least the few groups I have played with would be. Save your money for OP or St. Andrews.
