Dream Dresses

My daughter needed a dress for her 8th grade banquet so we decided to try Dream Dresses. Our salesgirl Audriana really "got" my daughter, and helped us find the perfect dress after trying on only 4! I was so impressed with the entire experience-their selection is enormous, the staff is knowledgable, friendly and not pushy. I will definitely recommend this store, and intend to shop there again for Sweet 16 and Prom!

This was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Most of the employees here were extremely rude and unprofessional. My 17 year old niece and I went to shop for prom dresses. My niece was very specific with what she wanted and they could have easily helped us find it. We got no help and little direction but were repeatedly told to "just look." It was 3:55 when we got there, and I get that they close at 5pm, but the "girls" repeatedly asked what time it was. One salesgirl stated she wanted to bang her head into the wall because she was tired of being there. We were told by another sale woman (one of the only 2 that were older; maybe 40's) that we could only pick 5 dresses to try on and wait on line. We did so, not knowing the prices, as we were not allowed to touch the dresses in the bags (prices not visible). The salesgirl that helped my niece was younger and told her "thank god you are not a fat one; I can't take another fat one." The one dress my niece liked was $500 and out of her price range, so the salesgirl then said "you shouldn't of tried it on if you can't afford to pay for it" as she rolled her eyes. Finally, they told her they specifically mark up dresses $100 for just being at their store. I was told I could not take pictures of my niece in the dresses (which I had wanted to show her mom so she could be part of the experience) and given no real reason other than "it's store policy." I have been to several prom dress stores and never ever have heard of that! I would have complained to someone, a manager or anyone that looked over the age of 30, but there seemed to be no one in site that was in charge. There were two sales women that appeared to be older and I did note that they were actually helping their clients look for dresses and they seemed to be polite. But the other "girls" were quite unprofessional and rude. I would very much like to speak to a manager in depth about this atrocious customer service. Did I mention I saw them turn away customers at 4:20pm, telling them they were closing in 5 minutes? They close at 5pm, and the last call is at 4:45pm, not 4:20pm. At least that is how it works in professional places. All in all, they do have a lot of dresses, but I would not spend a dime of my money furthering this business. I don't know who owns this place and why they would allow such treatment of their customers when so much of this business deals with young girls who are building their self esteems and are easily intimidated. I’m outraged at their idea of running a store!!!!!!
