The only nightmarish experience with a restaurant our family can recall. We were seated and then spent the next half an hour (!!!) for someone to at least remember about us and offer us the drinks. It was as if after sitting down at our table we became non-existent. There were people after us who were immediately greeted by a waitress, but not anyone ever came to our table. Our kid had enough time to color every single bit of the kids menu, and when everybody was exhausted of waiting and starving, we headed to the exit, just to discover three of the staff just chilling near the doors chatting! They made usual comments of "thanks" and all, and when we asked if the thanks were for the no service we received there, they didn't even seem to care!
A ruined family outing, hungry whining little kid, and overall disappointment - and all this from a place which should be interested in keeping customers coming... This was the first and definitely last time to ever visit Moosehead restaurant.

Our foursome visited Moosehead last night, 11/14/08. My wife and I had been to Moosehead multiple times peviously with very good experiences highlighted by a great bar tender/manager, Tim, and good servers. Last night the greet staff was less than professional and lacked the usual enthusiasm we came to enjoy. My wife's dinner came out and the grouper was overcooked accompanied by skewered vegetables that were undercooked. Our server, Chris, did his best to accomodate and returned with a new plate about 15 minutes later. The rest of our party was pretty much finished and my wife was forced to finish late behind us. A "manager" came over to check and we exporessed our displeasure over the food and the delay and her response was "well good, you got your food". And off she went! No adjustmednt to the check; no real apology. We're disappointed after many good visits. I asked the hostess for the manager's name and she blank looked me. "Which one? We have 3." I gave up on that and got the owner's name, Jeff George. I looked for a website to find Mr. George but they don't have one.
I'm still rating Moosehead a 3 but I'm hoping Jeff George reads this and contacts me to discuss this further.

We have been here three times since the restaurant opened. First night, absolutely crazy. Long wait for table and food but our server did her best to bring our drinks and appetizers as soon as possible. Even though it was a long night, it was fun. The decor is terrific and the building has been transformed in to a spectacular dining facilities.
Last visited on Wednesday, things have settled down. The food is great...service is very good and always with a smile. I wish every restaurant had staff as nice as this.
