El Matador Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I went here today and both of us ordered from the vegetarian menu. I additionally had them hold the cheese in my enchilada and replace it with beans. When I received my order, I took a bite of the enchilada with beans and to my disgust, it contained tiny meat pieces mixed in the beans. When I told the waiter that there was meat pieces mixed in the beans he looked at me and said "I don't think so." I asked him if he was calling me a liar and he didn't know what to say, he took my plate and still charged me half the price of the meal. When I then went to the cashier the manager was there also and was aware of what had taken place and I told him that there were pieces of meat in the beans and he said, "we looked and could not find any pieces of meat." My husband paid the bill including the half price for my meal and we left. I wanted to warn anyone who is vegetarian to be aware of checking your meal before you eat it. I am still nauseated from it.

They have the best salsa. They have 99 cent taco nights and they are great. They are very quick service.

I thought the food was TERRIBLE! The meat was plain with no flavor, the burritos the size of tacos, and the tacos tasted stale.
