John Jory Corporation is a general contractor serving the commercial construction market in Southern California. The company s capabilities include a variety of commercial structures, including medical, high-rise construction, hotels and light industrial. John Jory Corporation does all of its metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings and plaster work in-house. This leaves fireproofing and insulation as the only work that requires subcontracting. The company has completed projects for Sears, Target, Gap, Circuit City and Knott s Berry Farm. Founded in 1968, John Jory Corporation primarily did residential construction until a decline in the housing market in the late 1980s forced the business to restructure.
