Shippen Manor is an 18th c. iron master's residence built near the Oxford Furnace. Today, it is a county museum that is open to the public on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from May to December (except for holidays). Hours vary based on programming schedule (visit Warren200.com). This is a family-friendly site that is free to the public. Donations are accepted by the Friends of Shippen and are used for the museum. Museum is open rain or shine, outdoor events that are affected by inclement weather may be cancelled.
