Denny's

I go to Denny's because I can get good food and good service at a decent price, usually. The denny's on Linda Mar Blvd. in Pacifica is in no way like any Denny's I've been to before. The service was very slow and the food mediocre at best. the waitresses were talking to each other so much that the people at the tables were only after thoughts. We were not given menus when seated. We had to ask for service and when it came, there was no silverware and I didn't have a straw for my iced tea. My friend ordered an ultimate omelet while I ordered steak and eggs. We both asked for grits instead of hash browns. Her omelet was full of vegetables but hardly any sausage and my steak was tough. The biscuits were hard and the grits were watery, undercooked and cold. No butter or jam was offered. I also watched other people looking around and asking for service. Needless to say, I'm never going back to that Denny's.
