Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

Pizza there has improved since they first opened. Goood unique Pizza and recommended for a try if you're on the fence.

Been there 4 times and pizza is hit or miss.



First time was the best pizza we ever ate but the sauce fell a little short of the crust so you really ate almost only half of each slice (who wants to eat a half slice of dry crust and nothing else on it?)



So the next time we went we asked them to make sure the sauce goes up to the crust. Instead they gave us extra sauce which we really didn't want. But that was not the worst of it. The pizza was basically blackened way too much and should never have been served that way. It was BLACK! Carbonized! Since we had taken guests there we didn't want to dampen the evening so we all enjoyed the unburnt parts.



Last time that we ate their pizza we needed to order it to go. My husband specifically went there to order it instead of phoning ahead so that it would not just sit there. Well it still sat there while he waited for it (because they were so busy there was no one available to help him get and pay for the pie sooner).



So he gets it home- it is cold, it has less sauce than a third of the pie and believe me when I tell you no cheese to speak of. Can you say cold cardboard??? What a mess. It seems they cannot handle their new found fame. I think from now on we will eat there and just be demanding that the pizza be right. It is too expensive to just settle for the way they feel like bringing it out.



Get better service please and pay attention to the pies leaving your oven!

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Worth every penny. Excellent, speedy service with the best pizza around.

Go at least once to try the pizza it has a distinct taste. They will trick you by asking you if u want salad before your meal, fyi $8.50 for salad for 2(we passed on it). Pizza with toppings will be at least $20.00 there large is only enough for 2 hungry adults. If your taking four plan on ordering a large appetizer ahead of the meal.
