Ultherapy is an FDA approved non-surgical facial skin tightening procedure for firming and improving the tone of your skin without any downtime. It is the only skin tightening procedure that uses ultrasound imaging to allow the surgeon to see the layers of tissue. It accurately targets and deposits the ultrasound energy precisely where it will be most effective.
MRI
Silicone breast implants, more commonly known as gummy bear implants, are the latest innovation routinely performed at our Bergen County, New Jersey center. Gummy bear implants get its nickname from the candy because they resemble them in density and consistency. Silicone implants were first approved by the FDA in 2006 and have since become a popular choice among those of our patients who seek breast augmentation. Apart from its favorable feel and look, gummy bear implants are durable and less prone to rupture than saline. The gel implant is made with a solidified silicone gel that feels like your natural breast tissue; the gel-based filling will hold shape better in the case of a tear. However, they often require a larger incision, and you may have to undergo occasional MRI screenings to check for ruptures. Saline breast implants are less expensive, can be inserted with a smaller incision, and in the case of a rupture, its salt water content will harmlessly absorb into your body.

Thigh Lift
During your initial visit at our center you will work with Dr. Zubowski to customize a thorough thigh lift plan based upon your aesthetic vision. You can also expect to receive an overview of relevant surgical techniques. At this first one-to-one consultation Dr. Zubowski will determine the size and location of the proposed incision by evaluating the skin to be removed and tightened, and the amount of fat to be expunged. Breast Surgery
If you are a breast cancer survivor who has undergone a mastectomy, reconstructive breast surgery can restore the natural appearance of your breast. Losing a breast is demoralizing. Fortunately, board certified New Jersey plastic surgeon Dr. Zubowski understands the difficulties faced by patients considering breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Dr. Zubowski will discuss with you the many techniques and products available and how best to achieve the results that you want. The options presented will vary based on your individual anatomy, personal needs and medical history. Ordinarily, most women visiting our Bergen County NJ center qualify as candidates for breast reconstruction after cancer. Typically, the discussion revolves around which techniques are best for you and how to best combine mastectomy reconstruction with your overall cancer treatment plan.
Otoplasty
During most common otoplasty procedures, Dr. Zubowski, a well-regarded board-certified New Jersey plastic surgeon, will make a small incision into the natural crease behind the ear to expose the cartilage. Then he will sculpt and shape the ear by molding the cartilage to the desired shape and distance from the scalp. The ear reshaping procedure generally takes about two hours and can be performed under sedation, although general anesthesia is often used, particularly for younger children. A light dressing similar to a headband will be applied for the first week and then only at bedtime for the next few weeks. Typically, your ears should show visible improvement within two to three weeks.

Forehead Lift
A lateral lift (temporal lift) is a procedure that aims to lift the lateral (outer) portion of the brow to restore arch aesthetics. It is a smaller procedure than a forehead lift and is not as comprehensive for forehead rejuvenation. Instead, the lateral lift or temporal lift focuses on raising the lateral brow and temple region. It does not eliminate wrinkles between the eyes or central forehead. Since it is a lesser procedure, the recovery tends to be faster with less bruising and swelling.

Skin Cancer
Oculoplastic surgery (otoplasty) involves both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the eyelids, orbit (bones and anatomic structures behind the eyeball) and lacrimal (tear drain) system. Typical eyelid disorders treated by oculoplastic surgery include ptosis (drooping eyelids), congenital malformations, trauma (lacerations), tumors (skin cancer), malpositions such as entropion (turned-in eyelid), ectropion (turned- out eyelid), styes (chalazia), blepharospasm and eyelash abnormalities.
