Andy OnCall Handyman Service of Morris County

I contacted this business about several small scale jobs around the house. The contractor that came broke out the cost for each one individually. After being quoted a cost of about $3,000, yes, three thousand dollars, for installing hardwood flooring in a single room of less than 300 sq ft, the rest of the quote was irrelevant to me. Oh by the way, I was not purchasing flooring too, this was strictly for the installation of it.



Since Andy uses many contractors the quotes probably vary greatly, but this shows me that the cut that Andy takes from the contractor must be so great that contractors will price high to make it worth their while.

I called Andy on Call to hang curtains in my plaster walls. I specifically asked what product the handyman was using (as you can not drill into plaster walls and expect the walls to hold curtain rods). He assured me that he had a great tool for hang the curtains. Within the warranty period, one of the curtain rods fell down. Turns out that Andy on Call drilled directly into plaster w/out additional support. When I called to have Andy on Call fix the problem, I found out that my location was out of business and the corporate headquarters would not honor the warranty. All though Andy-on- Call is a national chain, you are not hiring a vetted or backed handyman and there is no recourse for shotty work.

Everytime I call the service they come right out and works always done right away and done before I know it.
