Microlab/FXR, a Wireless Telecom Group Company, founded in 1949, designs and manufactures high-performance passive RF and microwave components such as dividers, directional couplers and filters. These components are generally used in broadband applications to allow future upgrades of enhanced wireless services. The company's components are also used in low loss, to increase signal strength for improved coverage, and low PIM, to minimize interference and improve system performance. Microlab/FXR also manufactures integrated systems used for combining high-powered signals from multiple carriers, higher level routing and signal treatment, cost-reduced usage of existing cellular infrastructure, and complete head-end assemblies for in-building DAS. The company's commercial applications include cellular telephone towers by the largest mobile phone service providers in the United States and Europe, base stations by the world's largest suppliers of wireless infrastructure, in-building distributed antenna systems, DAS, by the largest installers, and wireless LAN service on the fastest trains in the world. Defense systems use its components in electronic countermeasures, missile guidance and other places where people rely on their dependability. Almost 50 percent of the company's products are sold worldwide under many different brand names. Microlab/FXR has a location in Parsippany, N.J.
