Pie 'N Burger

Walked by during the lunch hour, and it was packed so I figured all these people couldn't be wrong. Had the roast beef sandwich with fries. Fries were piping hot. Want to come back for pie!!

Took the kids here when they were young. This is an "LA Classic" w/ occasional celeb sightings. Awesome burgers and pie..as expected.

Friendly service but the burger is definitely not what I imagined. It's small and flavorless. I want to like this place but I don't think I'm coming back again.

Always crowded, but we go to pick up pies for special occasions.

Great breakfast and one of the last few diners where you can eat for under ten bucks. Good scrambled eggs and extra-crispy hash browns. They make their own bread and it makes terrific toast. I slathered mine with tons of their homemade jam.

This place is quite unique considering it is smack in the middle of Pasadena. It is styled like a coutryside diner with wooden tables and chairs, and the option to dine at the bar. The burgers taste great although quite fattening with all that dressing. The French fries are fresh but they are thicker and less crispier than I like my fries. The coffee is good and the apple pie tops off a great meal. Service is really bad. The old lady who serves you doesn't have my sympathy for her less than amicable treatment of customers and is it me or should seventy-year old ladies not wear short skirts? For just the pie and burger, this place deserves 4 stars but for the fries and the horrible service, it gets my 3 star vote.
