        Great to see that this large, indie bookstore is still around. I participated in an author event here, and the staff was wonderful and so accommodating. An ample selection of great reads here, and if you can't find it on the shelves, they'll be happy to order it for you!

        Incredible, large independent bookstore. Storytime for kids in the children's department. Also nice selection of gifts.

        This is not a well kept secret, since everyone in Pasadena knows about Vroman's, but in case you're from out of town and looking for a great bookstore, this is it. Huge selection with helpful and knowledgable staff, the only problem will be making up your mind on a book. The children's section is particularly impressive.

        They also have free gift wrapping and play host to all the celebrity writers that come through town on book signing tours.
