Country Critters Ltd

Not a very big fan.Iv been her 3times and cant see my self going back.They have a decent amount of fish but they are expensive.The staff isnt very helpful either.Iv asked them if this fish can go in my tank and they said "i dont know"...Not the answer i wanted from a fish store.Id recommend petco in patchogue instead,better staff and cheaper fish.

I purchase all of my fish here because I've been in there enough times to see how well they maintain the tanks & handle the fish. I've never had any problems with any of my fish from here. Plus they have a lot to choose from. They do give great advice on everything you could possibly need to know about a fish tank from set-up to regular maintenance. However, they are a little high in prices.

i was in the store friday evening when i and several other customers heard an argument between 2 staff ladies behind the counter the things the blond lasy with oxygen was saying to the ladie with the short brown hair was disgusting. i shop there along with several other friends all the time .... needless to say i wont shop there anymore and i will be telling everyone i know not to either. i can not believe the things that were coming out of the blond ladys mouth. i have never seen such behavior in a store in my life. i feel so bad for the other lady but didnt want to embarras her more by opening my mouth... tell me country critters if this is the way you treat other employees are your customers next ???

After going to the Smithhaven mall and purchasing a "Sugar Bear" I was doing a lot of research and found that Country Critters sells Sugar Gliders. When I went there to get supplies their staff was very informative, telling me that most of the information that I had gotten from the salesman was all wrong. Country Critters gave me everything that I would need to help this Glider and make him a great healthy pet. I am so thankful or else my little guy wouldn't have made it...

I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase an exotic. They know their stuff!!!

I heard that Country Critters is having a HUGE sale through out the entire store.... Not sure of exact dates, but

I know its the weekend after Thanksgiving!! I know this is their first annual sale.. I think it will be worth it. Just wanted to share will all.

After hearing about the amazing store, I brought my family in to see their newest attraction "Digit" the asian bearcat. Although she was sleeping the staff fed her infront of us, and she was adorable. They really did a good job on that rescue. We were also amazed at the new display tank thats being installed, almost 3500 gallons, one of the fish room employees told us its going to be filled with sharks soon! We were very impressed overall!!!

I would never purchase another animal from this pet store ever again. Less than three years ago I purchased a supposedly thorough bred Ragdoll cat from country critters for $900.00 only to discover that he did not have the appropriate papers in addition to the fact that he suffered from severe respitory problems and a heart murmur. Although he became healthy and grew to be the most beautiful and loving cat I have ever owned, I regrettably had to put him to sleep only a few days after his third birthday. He died of FIPS, a disease which the vet informed me he had probably contracted at infancy as a result of a deficient cattery or over congestive conditions at the pet store. Upon returned to Country Critters (since they guaranteed health on this cat) they told me they could do nothing for me.

Clean store. Nice variety of fish and supplies and various pets.
