        General Info
        Vonderheide Floor Coverings Co. was founded by Henry Vonderheide in 1947. Henry started the floor covering business after working as a laborer, installing linoleum. He enjoyed it and took pride in his workmanship. Henrys son Dale soon took interest, which allowed Henry to expand and work with his wife Thada in the showroom. In the years since, they have expanded into a beautiful 8,000 sq ft show room, offering a great flooring selection to the residents of Central IL

        Mike and Patty were wonderful to work with, and they had a great selection in their store. I would highly recommend them for carpet or hardwood, as well as window treatments. Friendly staff, carpet outlet too. Definitely a great place to shop!

        Payment policy

        Bought carpeting in 2009 and was told I needed to pay in full before they would even place the order. This, I was told, was their company policy with ALL their customers. My friend purchased tile in 2011 and was told she only had to put half down with full payment upon delivery. Why the difference?
