- At Collins Dentistry for Children our goal is to provide the finest in Pediatric Dentistry in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for your child. We are current in the latest findings and most up-to-date procedures in dentistry for our young patients. Dr. Nilfa enjoys combining her creative personality with classic behavior management techniques to form trusting relationships and treat children effectively. Dr. Nilfa received her D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey New Jersey Dental School (UMDNJNJDS) where she trained in advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, child psychology and clinical management, oral pathology, child-related pharmacology, radiology, child development, management of oral/facial trauma, care for patients with special needs, conscious sedation, and general anesthesia. She has practiced locally for six years before opening Collins Dentistry for Children. Really great pediatric dental practice. We just recently came to the office, after being very happy at the previous practice we were at for 3-4 years. My husband's dental insurance changed and we had to switch dentists. I couldnt be happier. My son is special needs and both of my children (9-10.5) are nervous at the dentist. Collins dentistry was so kind, compassionate, extremely professional and focused... We were in and out quite fast the the kids loved it. Every time I have called with a question or request since the office staff has been extraordinary.. The husband-wife team whom run the office obviously love children. I couldn't be happier with them. My dad was a dentist and I have a pretty high standard of dentists in general because of that. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone. :)
