I was shown a patients chart, by the administrator, which had the patients actual California identification, medi-cal and social-security card displayed on the cover of the chart. I tried to explain to him that this was confidential information and that I should not be allowed to see this information. His response to me was that he was not aware it was confidential information. Charts are kept on an unlocked bookshelf accessible to anyone in the facility, visitors as well as staff. I was left in the room with access to all the charts while he went outside to complete a personal phone call outside of my presence. I was able to have my wife placed at a different facility where confidentiality and privacy were understood by those in charge of her care. I know the difficulty of finding a good facility that is affordable to meet the needs of a loved one. As far as this facility, I recommend you keep looking. I rated this facility 0 stars and in reality this is too high.

If you had bad parents and you're looking to get even, this is the place you're looking for. I wouldn't leave my pet there! The food is gross, there is no stimulation for your loved one, there are cockroaches running about. The administrator thinks God left him in charge. There is only an administrator (who just happens to be the owner as well) so there is no neutral party to deal with if you wish to file a grievance or try to effect change. It's just not a good place, keep looking, there are a lot of good homes out there. I would take away all of the stars if it were an option.
