Provided by SuperpagesUS Post Office 9782 Clovis Road, Phelan, CA 92371My wife and I sent from Australia a Christmas card with a cheque (US spelling > check) to help a young family suffering terribly, through no fault of their own, as a result of the US down-turn. The letter was sent to the family's Phelan CA Post Office box.The Phelan Post Office returned the letter back to Australia.After rechecking the Phelan Post box number and zip code we re-sent the letter back to the US. The intended recipient informed the Phelan Post Office and asked them to please do not return the next letter back to Australia. The Phelan Post Office has now returned the second letter back to Australia. All of this has taken almost two months and we have achieved nothing .Interestingly from the various Post Office date-stamps on the letters, it takes 9 days for letters to go from Australia to Phelan CA and it takes 16 days for letters to go from Phelan CA to Australia. I am sorry for your once great country.
