Little Big Minds Preschool

My child had gone to Little Big Minds for about nine months, and we had a family emergency, so we had to travel. I contacted the Director, to let her know we would not have her attend in December. The school was closed for half of the month, and she'd only attend two days out of the month; so it did not make sense to spend $700. Unbeknownst to us, the "registration packet" that we signed, was a contract, which stated we'd have to pay regardless. So even though we had communicated with them in advance, they proceeded to charge our card $600. I understand it was our fault, for trusting them. But the same packet also said to communicate with the Director in a special case (which it was), and eluded to the fact that they may work with us. Which we did, and they refused to. The owner, Pilar Kelly, was extremely condescending , when they had practically the same amount of staff when she started school and way less kids. Not once were we asked what happened, they just cared to get paid.
