        Inexpensive retreat

        My husband and I wanted to get away for a night before the holidays started, you know how hectic that is! We were very pleased with our stay at Lake Piedmont Inn! The rooms were clean and spacious, we were greeted by friendly Inn keepers, and took advantage of the "endless cookie jar." Mmmmm! Pumpkin cookies fresh from the oven!

        The Inn is a quaint little get-away with lots of potential. I can see where it would be fun for the whole family, a quiet escape from reality or just a great place to stay while hunting, fishing or hiking. Breakfast was included in the cost of a one night stay and I have to say it was outstanding!

        While the Inn is still a work in progress, it has great potential and we will certainly be going back! The room rates are excellent in these hard economic times. It's a relaxed place, not high class! so if you want massages and facials, go somewhere else! The Piedmont Inn is a great to unwind and get in touch with nature.
