Calkins Road Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school s math classes offer information on algebra, numerical and proportional reasoning. The school also offers classes in English, science, social studies, art and physical education. Calkins Road Middle School operates a library that stocks books, magazines and newspapers. The middle school encourages the students to take part in a range of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that works for the overall development of the school. The association also publishes a newsletter that features campus activities and projects. Calkins Road Middle School is located in Pittsford, N.Y.
