Love Phillips! They are so friendly and easy to deal with! I do and would send everyone here!

Had paint and gutters done. They say no spot caulking, they spot caulked. They say no screwing into mortar, they screwed into mortar. Painter, who was contracted with Phillips, sprayed onto concrete, broke some siding and paint peeled the next day on a door. Was all sloppily fixed and left trash on the roof. Gutters weren't sloped properly or installed like the estimate. Have been in contact for 2 months trying to get the gutters fixed, lots of no shows. Waste of time. In the end it was alright, not worth the amount of money they asked, could have had better. I uploaded some before and after photos.

Make sure they didn't leave a fire hazard in your home like they did in ours.
We hired Phillips to paint the kitchen, living room, and halls. The work crew led by Victor rushed through the job to get to a higher dollar job which meant a higher bonus for him. The backsplash was messy and the detailed work looked awful. Even the salesman agreed with this. They failed to paint a post between the dining room and living room, missed a baseboard and got paint all over the back door and my dining room table because they failed to put a tarp over it when painting. The salesman caught several more things the crew failed to do like only one coat of paint on part of a door. They sent Victor back to fix these issues. He came in angry, rushed through once again and didn't finish the job. The baseboard was still missed, the post was less than half way painted, the door still was not finished. I called Tim who is supposed to be second in command. The salesman responded immediately a bit surprised that "it's been escalated." They sent more people over to help Victor. I had to take the day off of work to make sure they did their job. I asked the salesman to write down a list for the men so nothing would be missed. He refused saying he would remember. By the time the men left that day we just wanted to be rid of the salesman and Victor. In the weeks afterwards we noticed they missed the inside of one cabinet door in the kitchen, they failed to patch a hole and paint it, they painted over a sticker from a plumber in one cabinet rather than removing it. Additionally, despite the fact we requested and paid for it, they failed to remove old phone jacks and cable connections and patch and paint those places. The most disturbing discoveries came when we discovered that rather than unscrewing the cable connection from the wall, they ripped it out of the wall. Verizon won't fix that for free since it was our fault for hiring Phillips. I was also horrified to learn that they left a big fire hazard which went undiscovered for weeks. They removed the cover from a socket behind a multi plug and then just plugged the multi plug into the socket without a cover. When I unplugged the fan, the multi plug came out and a blue flame erupted. When we had that fixed we were told it was a house fire waiting to happen. We've also noticed the paint already peeling off the doors which did not happen when we had painted them ourselves years ago. They did offer to come back to fix the cabinet issues, but the idea of letting them in my home again make my stomach upset. Besides no one should need 3 additional visits to fix their mistakes. We will be hiring someone else to paint the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and I'd rather pay someone else to fix the problems Phillips left.
By contrast, after this horrible experience we hired Empire to lay new flooring. We were tense and worried after the horrific experience with Phillips. Fortunately, we needn't have worried. The flooring contractors were exceptionally professional, took pride in their work, and did it right the first time. I can find nothing to complain about with Empire which gives us hope that most contractors are not as lazy, unprofessional, or lack the quality that Phillips lacked.

I hired Phillips Painting for the interior and exterior painting of our home and we were more than pleased. From the detailed estimate, great communication and quality workmanship.... We are truly happy and appreciate your company for standing up to every word promised.

I have had Phillips Painting do several things around my home (an inside room, exterior trim, exterior patio, and new gutters). Whether inside or out, the quality, service, and speed with which they get things done is amazing. I always enjoy my interaction with whatever representative I deal with. I saw go for it.

We were leaving our home in Fairview to speak at a conference in Franklin Tenessee, our flight was to leave at 11:00 that morining. I was awakened to the sound of alarms, a violent storm passed thru, blowing shingles off our roof, causing a major leak in an upstairs bedroom, our home was just about covered with water upstairs, all of this taking place about 3:00 am. I called Jason Phillips, of Phillips Painting. My roof was repaired that morining, along with some friends to help with the carpets, we made our flight and conference. These guys are awesome, they have painted interior and exterior two homes and our church for me, I can tell you they are more than just a painting company, thanks Jason.
