My only really positive experience I got out of my business with Lakes Electronics came as a result of my treatment by Emanuel, who handled my repairs. After dealing with the main office, I was hesitant to even deal with the company and had considered getting my repairs done independently. He came when he said he would, did what he said he would in an efficient manner, making a minimum of mess in my kitchen, and acted as my point of correspondence with the company. If I ever have to deal with this company, I will call him first, and let HIM deal with the office. I really have no desire to work with them. I'll recommend Emanuel, however, if he can help anybody else. He's good, he's quick, he's thorough, and above all, he's extremely courteous.

This company is the BIGGEST JOKE!!!!! Don't waste your time!! I have never in my life had to deal with such poor customer service!!! The technicians they send out are complete idiots! Truly a joke, that is all I have to say! Yo hablo espanol y sinceramente que son idiotas!! I don't even know how they are open for business, I requested to speak with a supervisor and one never seems to be there! Not even worth "ONE STAR"!!!

Horrible....I mean horrible customer service. It has been 16 days and they still have yet to schedule any appointment with me to fix my washer. I called today and was originally told that I would have to pay a service fee (when I had already paid for an extended warranty). I then had to call the extended warranty company to resolve the issue about the service fee. I requested an appointment sooner than next week (as I have 5 kids at home and do frequent laundry)...only to be rudely told no. I asked to speak with a supervisor...who was again RUDE. She put me on hold for over 20 mins and then hung up the phone on me. I tried to call back several times to no avail. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"Betty" was unprofessional and rude, it is a shame that she is making the whole company look bad, this lady has HORRIBLE customer service. I will not recommend this to anyone. And no, they werent able to help me with my appliance. I had a appointment and they showed up randomly , without a call or nothing they were literally standing at the door , since i was working and couldnt make it back home , they denied a 2nd visit and are charging me full amount to come give me the estimate. This is unfair to me.

We used this company on Jan 5th. Our new Samsung dryer wasn't drying. We were apprehensive after reading the negative reviews. However, we had a very good experience with them. We got an appointment for the day after we called. The nice young service repair man was on time and it only took about 20 minutes to fix our dryer. Absolutely NO problems. Very nice young man.

We had a problem with our new refrigerator. It was still under warranty so we called HHGregg about servicing it. They gave us a number to call a Samsung representative. Upon contacting them, we were referred to Lake Electronics. I spoke with a woman named Amanda. She was polite and efficient and said I could have the repairs done the next day. She told me that the engineer would call me at 10:00 A.M. to schedule a time for the repairs. At 10:01, he called and said he would be there between 1:00 and 3:00. He showed up at 2:00 PM. He came in and diagnosed the problem withing 10 seconds. He was courteous and quick and was in and out within 20 minutes. His name is Dan Whitford. If we have troubles again, I will call them and request that Dan be sent out. It was great service.

HORRIBLE customer service and lack luster repair techs. They sent a drunk bartender who just started fixing appliances to my house. AND not only did he not repair my item he made it worse!! Now management is refusing to call me back!!! RUN and find a better company!!
