Colon Cancer
While colon resection can be performed through a traditional open procedure, most patients now undergo a laparoscopic procedure so that they can benefit from smaller incisions, less scarring and shorter recovery times. Laparoscopic surgery also offers patients less pain and bleeding. Most patients with colon cancer are candidates for laparoscopic colon resection, as the procedure is considered just as safe as traditional surgery.
Endoscopy
Upper GI endoscopy is usually performed on an outpatient basis. The endoscope is a long, thin, flexible tube with a tiny video camera and light on the end. By adjusting the various controls on the endoscope, the endoscopist can safely guide the instrument to carefully examine the inside lining of the upper digestive system.

Mental Health
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a calculation based on height and weight that measures body fat and determines classes of weight. A normal BMI is 18.5-24.9. Candidates for bariatric surgery typically have a BMI of 40 or more, or a BMI of 35 with a serious illness that can be improved with weight loss. Other factors taken into consideration include the patientâ€™s physical and mental health and ability to follow a strict diet and exercise program. Patients interested in this procedure should schedule a consultation with their physician.

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Robotic Surgery
Robotic surgery is the latest technological advance that has revolutionized surgical techniques. In addition to allowing a robotic surgeon greater precision many other benefits to patients during and after the surgery. Robotic surgery uses robotic arms to hold surgical tools needed for surgical procedures. The robotic surgeon manipulates the robotic arms to use the surgical instruments in the procedure. Laparoscopy
The LINX system is implanted during a minimally invasive surgical procedure called laparoscopy, which is performed under general anesthesia. A small abdominal incision is made, through which a viewing tube and other instruments are introduced. The appropriate size of the LINX device is determined with the help of a precision tool. An open LINX device is placed around the lower esophageal sphincter and its ends are connected to form a band which securely closes the sphincter.

Botox injection or Botulinum toxin injection is most commonly known for its successful use in cosmetic therapies. Initially, Botox was approved to treat strabismus (crossed eyes), blepharospasm (spasm of the eyelids), and cervical dystonia (muscle contractions in the neck). Liposuction
Brachioplasty or arm lift is a procedure that is meant to reduce the excess sagging skin of the upper arm (above the elbow). This procedure helps to tighten and smooth the underlying supportive tissue that defines the shape of the upper arm. Sometimes this procedure is combined with liposuction if there is still excess fatty tissue combined with excess skin to improve overall aesthetic results.
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to enhance the size and shape of the breasts most commonly by inserting breast implants but can also be done with fat transfer. It is important to note that breast augmentation is not a breast lift, and if you have significant drooping breast tissue you may require an augmentation mastopexy to address both volume and the extra skin.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction, also referred to as reduction mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure in which excess fat, breast tissue, and skin are removed from the breasts. The surgery is usually sought by women who wish to accomplish an aesthetically pleasing breast contour and size proportionate to their body, and to mitigate the discomfort associated with unusually large breasts (macromastia). Men with gynecomastia (enlarged male breast tissue) may also receive breast reduction surgery to flatten and enhance the chest contour.
Breast Lift
Revision breast surgery is a corrective surgical procedure to improve or change the shape or look of your breast following a previous breast removal (mastectomy) and, breast reconstruction, an augmentation/ breast implant surgery, a breast reduction or a breast lift. It can potentially be a more complex surgery than your original surgery, although it could also be a simple fix. The goal of revision breast surgery is to restore your breast's natural appearance and improve upon what has already been done.

Breast reconstruction is a surgery performed to restore the shape of the breasts after the tissue is removed during a mastectomy (conducted to treat or prevent breast cancer).

Thigh Lift
A thigh lift is a procedure that is meant to reduce the excess sagging skin of the medial thigh (above the knee) â€“ an outer thigh lift is best addressed in conjunction with a tummy tuck or body lift procedure. The thigh lift procedure is meant to provide improved contour of the thighs and improve patient comfort by decreasing chafing between the thighs. Depending on the distribution of the excess skin on the thigh will help determine the length/ extent of the incision required. This procedure may sometimes be combined with liposuction for best results.
Face Lift
A face lift/ neck lift is a surgical procedure that helps to improve signs of aging in the face and neck. The procedure is meant to improve facial contours and lift the face and neck and replenish fat in the face to help with a more aesthetic and youthful appearance. A facelift can help improve sagging skin of the face and neck, deepening of the nasolabial fold between the nose and the corners of the mouth and jowls that develop in the cheeks and jaw line. The incisions can usually be placed in natural skin folds to help camouflage them.

Panniculectomy is a procedure that removes the overhanging skin and fat (pannus) from the lower abdomen for improving abdominal contour, hygiene, and ease of daily activities. Panniculectomy differs from abdominoplasty in that it does not tighten the abdominal musculature or change the location of the umbilicus.
Body Lift
A lower body lift or a belt lipectomy is a procedure that can help to improve the shape and tone of the underlying tissue that supports skin and fat. A lower body lift allows for a major transformation of the lower body areas including the abdomen, groin, hips, outer thighs and buttocks after removal of excess skin and fatty tissue. The incision extends 360 degrees around the body to address all of the aforementioned areas. Body lifts are not intended strictly for removal of excess fat. Liposuction is a tool that can remove excess fat as needed and this can be combined with a body lift if the skin elasticity is poor to provide the best improved contour.

To be a candidate for body contouring procedures patients must have stable weight loss for at least one year and be at their goal weight.
