She specializes in communication and conflict resolution in couples/families as well as providing individual counseling to both men and women. She has a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Florida. In addition, she holds a specialty interdisciplinary degree in gender research that combined studies from the College of Sociology, Linguistics, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Psychology.
