Catches Waterfront Grille

I love it there very romantic with the right person. I was there last Thursday and me and the right person had an awsome time we closed down the place and no one even asked us to leave we did it on our own. Lol.

Service was just horrible the waiter was stretched between the patio and the dinning room ...so the customers suffered for it. First drinks were fine but the appetizers were dry. Then it took more than 40 minutes for the server to return to our table to get main course order. Three other tables that came in after us ( one six top and two four tops ) were served first before this server ever took our food order. Management was no where to be found on three attempts to the host desk. Then the food was just bland and tasteless, in fact the broiled grouper had the taste of the freezer... It was dry and cost $21.00 . The basa fish was better but still bland and spice less . Then the loaded potato that was charged extra had rubbery microwaved cheese . The Caesar salad was limp and it took more than 20 minutes to get a glass of water. Called the restaurant to discuss the horrible experience without resolution. Please take the advice....avoid like the plaque unless you like bad service and frozen food at $80.00 tab. Thought we would try again years later as their opening was a disaster ...but I was up sick all night till finally vomited.

We found it via YP and had a nice meal overlooking the boat basin. Casual but attentive server, reasonable prices, and great seafood. Thanks YP!

On a visit and review May 15, bathroom was dirty, main floor dirty, waitress was not focused. She could not even remember our drinks (2).



The salad was not fresh, too much paprika on the fish, vegetables not cooked.



They have the nerve to offer valet service at such a poor restaurant.

Went there yesterday and ordered Chicken Marsala, chicken was overcooked and mushrooms were nothing more than a bunch of overcooked stumps, Ice tea was good. Seating good.

we had eaten at this restaurant before a few years ago and liked it , went again the other night and possibly got the worst meal ive ever had. the prices were a bit higher than i remembered but we stayed anyway. No salad offered before the main course but there were rolls and butter . Probably the only good thing we were served. cutting into a large fried fish fillet and water just flowed everywhere . like it had been frozen and reheated . the same was true of the scallops .I will never go there again . What a waste of money.
