Adorn Body Art

I went into Adorn about 2 years ago shopping for gauges, found very unique jewelry, it was very spendy. I went back about 7 months ago with a friend, staff didn't seem very friendly, also spent about 120$ on 4 pairs of gauges. Went in again 6 months ago, got my tongue pierced, and since i was under 18. . even with a parents consent. I still got denied service from that specific piercer, they did give me a 5 dollars off my next piercing. So i went in the next day for a different piercer, again the staff didn't seem quite as friendly as other places i had been to. Everything they used was sterile, the person that pierced my tongue didn't use tongs to hold my tongue. I don't know if that matters to some people or if that's one thing they they look for when they are looking for a place to get their tongue annihilated. But the last downfall to this place, was having my tongue piercing crooked. I paid 65 bucks to get it done and i expect it to be done perfectly for the price, also having very experienced staff behind them it should be done perfect everytime.

Now onto the tattoos. I heard from a close friend when she went in for her first tattoo, they treated her like one of those naive teens that was just getting one because it was cool at the time. She didn't like their service and took her business elsewhere. Another friend said they had great artists and have been there for every tattoo. . her being much older then the other friend (30 at the time) got betetr service. so I'm sure age does make a difference on how they treat you.

Bottom line, would i reccommend? Probably not, you can find almost the same jewelry at the mall in portland. As well as friendlier staff at other piercing places.

Adorn's the best!!! There tattoo artist's are a bunch of bad asses. Eli did my sleeve. I freekin love it!!! Lisa pierced my ears at a 6g once too. super sweet. And the chick up fonts always givin me tatt mags and candy. Like I said adorn rulz!

Adorn rules I've gotten 12 piercings there over the last few years. I've been pierced by Lisa, Desta, and Tracy. They have all treated me very well and did a great job. They have so much great jewelry to choose from too. The girls that work up front are always helpful when I'm shopping or have questions about my next piercing. Oh and they always check to see if I'm "feeling okay" So I totally recommend adorn!!!

I get all my tattoos at adorn, as long as i live in portland this will be the only place I will go. Very talented artist, clean shop and very helpful friendly staff.

You would think that if you came into this shop with your very good friend, who happens to be covered with tattoos and body piercings, the help would be super cool to you. Since, duh! obviously you probably have a pretty good chance of a good customer here. Big mistake, I was horrified at the treatment I received from a very rude, clueless, person named Jasmine. I picked up a bead while we were choosing a color for my friends eyebrow piercing, and this nasty little girl sneered at me and said, "GET YOUR FINGERS OUT OF THERE, I WAS USING TWEEZERS FOR A REASON." I understand that there was probably a good reason she did not want to me to handle the beads, but there is good taste and tact vs. just plain low-life rudeness. I wanted so bad to blast her right then and there, but I didn't want to ruin it for my friend. So I kept my mouth shut. When my friend chose his bead, she then addressed me again in the same snotty matter and said, "Is there anything else I can DO FOR YOU," like she was dismissing me from the whole thing. I know this person was not the owner of the shop, nor did she do the piercing, and I doubt she was a tattoo artist. I think she was just the hired help at the counter. Well Jasmine there is nothing you can do for either me nor my friend. The first thing he said to me when we left the store was he was sorry about the treatment I received, and that we would not be returning. She also lost my sister, who has been saving forever for a big, full color, tattoo of a leopard. She lives just up the street from this shop on Beaverton Hills Dale Highway, and will no longer be considering looking for an artist there. I feel bad for the owner of this shop, because she was really nice to my friend and myself, and she was certainly competent and professional. Maybe she needs to be aware that her current choice in counter help, should not be speaking to her customers.

I recently had a memorial tatoo and was more than pleased by the work and artistry of Jesse. I will be going back to have another one - I highly recommend Adorn. It is clean and the people who work there are very helpful.

Never been anything but pleased with the folks that work at Adorn. I see nothing but amazing work with the tattoos and piercings that come out of the shop. I look forward to getting more work done from the crew at Adorn.
