Founded in 1984, Silverwood School is an educational institution that enrolls students in grades one through six. It provides classes in English, social studies and science. Silverwood School features a music hall, lunch area, community center, physical education space, and art and technology studio. It is a member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the Washington Federation of Independent Schools. The school also includes a computer laboratory that has more than 40 computers with printers, scanners and digital cameras. Additionally, it organizes potlucks, curriculum nights, parent-teacher conferences, carnivals, and class and group parties. Silverwood School is located in Poulsbo, Wash.
