Red Stripe

Went there thinking that this place was a dive pretending to be upscale. But I was impressed by the service there. I really liked the bartender Wendy she was awsome she was able to hold a conversation with me while serving the costumers in a timely fashion. I liked here food suggestion the stake fritz. Now that's all I order. Anyone that's goes there sit at the bar you'll gave a great meal and meet a wonder and pleasant person.

we live right near this restaurant and dont go there much. went recently and thought the food was much better than when it just opened. however, the waitress brought me the wrong appetizer salad; so i asked for the correct one. when we got the bill, she did not attach the itemized bill. when i asked for it, i saw that we were charged for the salad that was sent back! that was not good.

I took my two out of town friends here for an early dinner. we sat outside and had a great time. The service was great and so was the food. We had mussels, calamarri, cod loin, and brick chicken. They were all great! The bread pudding desert was awesome! I can't wait to go back.

Red Stripe was one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. We liked sitting at the bar and had a favorite bartender who has long since left. Food has been a bit inconsistent, and the service really depends on the server. One of our last times there we had a server who clearly didn't think we needed as much food as we ordered, only brought bread because we asked, and didn't offer dessert. I could just be sensitive as a couple of members of our party were not exactly petite. I prefer to think she had our best interest at heart, but honestly she projected an air of disgust, not a good quality in someone in the FOOD / HOSPITALITY business.
