My parakeet likes to walkaround instead of being in the cage. It is like a hotel with everything he needs. He is young and just got him. How can I get him back in the cage? He knows where it is and is very clean.

Put your cell phone or some other light near the cage and make it dark in the room, he will think it is time for bed and go in. Alternatively, you can use a mirror to lure him in, he will think it is another bird and follow it. There are other answers on YouTube if those don't work.
