careless staff

they referred me to do a LAB test in a nearby medical center and promised to give me a call to come and pick it up. 12 days have elapsed and i never heard back from them, and as a physician i know that my done test does not take more than 2 days to have the result back, i called them 2 times to follow up, they told me we did not receive anything yet! then i called the LAB department in the hospital , they told me they have released the result right away 2 days after taking the sample, i called them for the third time to ask if they got it, they told me come and take it!

when i went there i asked: what is the reason for this delay?

they said usually when the results are released we have to request it to send it back to us.

ok why you did not request it , it has been there for 10 days? ambiguous answers

why you did not give me a call to come and pick it up , until i called? who promised you( the person who promised was not there)

in a nutshell: careless people, you have to push them to get served.
