Chau, a first generation Vietnamese-American born to both Vietnamese immigrants, has been a part of The Spa at Spring Ridge family for over five years. She graduated from the Berks Career and Technology Centerâ€™s (BCTC) Cosmetology program with both a Nail Technician and a Cosmetology License. While at BCTC, Chau was in a nationwide student program called Skills USA where she competed in nail care, winning in-house, district, and then placing fourth at State completion for nail design. Following graduation from BCTC, she attended Berks Technical Institute (BTI) for Massage Therapy. Her specialties include nail care and design, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Sports & Seated, Geriatric, and Special Population as well as Hot Stone and an array of body treatments. Chau has always wanted to be in the spa industry since she was a little girl. She loves to indulge clients by helping with their specific aches as well as giving them knowledge; she loves education and learning so much that she wants to share her knowledge with clients. Cristin began her passion for making others feel beautiful in 2009 when she began the cosmetology program at Metro Beauty Academy. In 2010, Cristin began her career as a hair stylist, with a focus on fostering relationships with her clients. Cristinâ€™s goal has always been to customize every treatment to match the needs of her guests. With two years of stylist experience under her belt, Cristin sought to expand her reach toward other treatment services. She joined the front desk staff of The Spa at Spring Ridge at the beginning of 2012, diligently performing daily operational duties and assisting guests with scheduling and purchasing. Cristin later advanced to Front Desk Manager and became a service provider as well. Cristin received her certification in Brazilian waxing in 2011 and has since mastered the art of Brazilian wax, body waxing, and brow design along with providing airbrush-tanning services. Over the years, Cristin has maintained high standards of quality service, sanitation, knowledge, continuing education, and professional growth, which has allowed her to be well versed in the latest waxing techniques and trends. Cristin has the ability to make all who enter her airbrush tanning or waxing world feel warm, welcomed, and right at home. One of her best qualities is that she makes every guest feel comfortable when receiving any services with her.

Among the many services we offer at The Spa at Spring Ridge are treatments for rosacea and sensitive skin. Various treatments including facials, peels, and laser procedures can treat sensitivity and rosacea, leaving you with revitalized, soothed, and evenly toned skin. Many of our patients have achieved outstanding results with our spa treatments for rosacea and sensitive skin.Â Although there are many types of skin sensitivities, rosacea is the main cause of redness in the skin. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness and swelling on the face, scalp, neck, ears, chest, and back. While the condition may first manifest as a tendency to blush easily, over time it can progress to persistent redness with visible blood vessels and pimples in the center of the face. Our spa experts often assist patients whose condition of rosacea has been misdiagnosed as adult acne or a sunburn. Even though the exact cause of rosacea is still undetermined, customized laser treatments and routine facials can significantly reduce the appearance of redness and provide you with a more even skin tone.

I was never a â€œspa personâ€ before coming to The Spa at Spring Ridge. They run really great monthly specials and I finally gave in and decided I needed to take care of myself for a change. I started with the New Client Offer. I received a customized mini facial that was more than a mini facial. I could barely get out of the comfortable and heated bed because I was so relaxed. I was given a computerized skin analysis with this really cool picture machine that showed WAY too much sun damage and then I had a consultation where the therapist blew me away with her knowledge and education on ways to treat my skin and get it in better shape. It was the perfect way to start my 1st spa experience. It just keeps getting better and better. I have now become a â€œregularâ€ as I call it. It really feels like I am going and seeing friends. Myofascial Therapy
Violet graduated with honors, from Cortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy. She was born in Ecuador and grew up in Las Angeles and is also bilingual in Spanish. Violet focuses on several modalities which include Swedish relaxation massage, Myofascial release, and deep tissue release. The treatments she performs address individual needs of her clients allowing her to maintain their wellness through massage therapy. Violet has experienced first-hand how massage therapy can transform someoneâ€™s health and overall well-being. Recognizing the health benefits of massage is what convinced her to pursue this career.
