General Info: Founded in 1917, Sunsweet Growers is the one of the world's largest handlers of dried tree fruits, including cranberries, apricots and prunes. It is a grower-owned marketing cooperative that represents more than one-third of the prune market worldwide. Sunsweet Growers processes more than 50,000 tons of prunes a year. The company processes and markets the dried fruit production of over 400 grower-members with orchard holdings primarily in the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys in California. Headquartered in Yuba City, Calif., Sunsweet Growers also holds a juice bottling facility in Fleetwood, Penn. In addition, it maintains a location in Red Bluff, Calif.
