We have 2 dogs in training. A 17 month old GSD & a 7 year old black Lab. Both were very difficult to walk on lead. The German Shepard puppy would not mind or follow commands. Now, less than 5 months later both walk off leash wonderfully and not just alone but in public with other dogs and people of all ages. We will be taking the Canine Good Citizen test this week & look forward to more advanced training, up to the therapy dog level. Our bond with or dogs is better than ever. SMS saved our lives. We had the worst dog in the world and called it "The Wonder Dog"as we wondered why we kept him. We opted for the board & train program where SMS did the training at their homes then included private training in our home plus free group training for the rest of our 1-yr old dog's life. They focused on things that were important to us. Now our "Wonderful Dog" does not bolt out the front door or car door - no longer attacks us in our back yard or when we try to leave the house without him. We had tried other training programs with him before SMS and this is the one that worked for us as we did not want negative training or for our dog's spirit to be broken. In fact, he was Dog of the Month at SMS in April 2013!!!! When it comes to training programs SMS is the only option available as far as we are concerned. Our dog will never again jump out of the car at Costco and race around the parking lot as we are trying to catch it, as he no longer gets out of the car until he is invited to.

I enrolled my AM pup when he was 3 months old in puppy class, and he showed amazing progress with the trainers. He is now 8 months and we are enjoying the ultimate package. I've had the pleasure of working with Eric, Matt, Nick and David. They are all very patient with my pup as well as me!!! I'm so glad out of the places others told me to go that we chose Sit Means Sit!

After 1 home session I was able to take my dog skiing with me, completely off leash. I am extremely pleased with the progress my dog has made while in the SMS program.

Sit Means Sit is AMAZING! I never thought that our dogs could be as well behaved as they are now! The SMS method of training is wonderfull and it works really well.
