        My BMW 325i got stock in 495 between exits 40 and 39 on 2/21 afternoon during the snow blizzard. After 5 hours in the freezing cold, unsuccessful attempts to get help (multiple calls to the towing companies and friends), I decided to leave the car on the shoulder of the road. During the night police engaged Morton's Towing & Recovery company to tow my car and a few other cars that were left by their owners.



        My car has a manual transmission and was left on 1st gear. Morton's broke side front window to put the car on the neutral (nothing was stolen, even my purse which proves it was not a thief). My friend got to the car shortly before it was towed, but couldn't drive it for me. He confirmed that the window wasn't broken when he was there shortly before Morton's. The company refused taking responsibility for the broken window. They also towed my car to their Frederic location and not Rockville location which was much closer to the place where the car was, charging me large fee for towing to a farther away location. It is a rip off!!!



        Company representatives were rude, no apologies were made. They charged a hefty fee. And now I need to pay for a window replacement. I do NOT recommend using Morton's Towing & Recovery.

        I had a wood Chipper and my brothers truck stuck behind my house in the mud. I called 3 other tow companys and no one wanted to even come out and look at it. So I called Morton's the owner him self came out and looked at it. He spent 2 hours there with us pulling both pieces out from behind my house with out doing any damage to are yard or my brand new fence.They gave us top notch service. Hats off to Morton's towing
