My work stands out because I have a personal love for exploring the ideas of my clients and expanding on them, instead of placing their project inside a box. The new fresh ideas of every client and person I film for is the fuel that lights my fire for film Making. I love creating new projects. I love capturing new ideas on film, editing them and giving them definition and life. I am a free spirit and I think outside the box and my profession allows me to have and endless well of creativity. One thing that I still find fascinating is that in filming , you can never have enough footage, if we are filing a commercial. I like to have 7 to 9 takes of each scene so that I have more than enough to work with. when it comes to editing, many times ,, when you look at what we filmed on the screen , it has a completely different dynamic than when it was filmed in person, so sometimes, images that are captured that were never meant to be in the final cut end up being the winning scenes that make the whole project even though it was not in the plan. The advice I have for any customer is to be open to all the possibilities of what your particular film job may have. I am a film maker, which is an art, so every project to me, is like an empty canvas that has endless possibilities and I only need the direction and I can create a masterpiece .I have been interested in film making and creating visual art since I was 8 years old. I used to make movies with a fulll story line and act it out and organize all my other little friends in my productions. 10 years ago I knew I wanted to make films , no matter how short, either music videos, short movies, full length movies, events, Weddings, and commercials. every film project to me has a life of its own and I have a deep passion for each project because it is what I truly love doing. I have been making commercials, I have shot over 40 music videos, 3 full length movies, 25 movie shorts, and covered over 75 weddings and other small events. The most common jobs that I do are music videos and wedding videos, Those are the two most highly requested jobs. I get commercials also and all the other events and birthday parties are sporadic. I do not have a complicated pricing system at all. I am not price driven, I love what I do ,so I am driven by the vision of the project itself. My costs are $500 at the bottom , low end for any project, I am going to give a client consultation, A story board for what we are going to film, (A blue print) Many times 2 cameras for any shoot even if they want one because they think they cant afford 2, and I am going to give at least two versions of the finished product if needed by the client, because it always looks different than you imagined after you edit it. For 7 or 8 hours I charge $1000 to $3,500 but I will always be cheaper than any company because I am not industry standard price driven in my work.
