Henley's Steak and Seafood

This is the most over priced bad restaurant I've ever visited. My $37 10 oz haha filet, ordered medium, was about 6 oz burned to a crisp around the edges and tough as an ol shoe. There were five adults. Shrimp an grits was a few small shrimp in a bowl of what appeared to be broth with the grits stuck to the bottom of the bowl. The fried shrimp reportedly was ok, but how you gonna screw up fried food anyway? The sirloin was also reported as good, but was ordered well done, so. I would say it's more like jerky as designed. The service was sub par. The restaurant has 1 high chair. There were three small children there in the 7pm timeframe, two of which had to sit in a booth. The bill was north of $200. I was flummoxed!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I ordered the steak which was $50.00. I ordered it medium and within less than 5 minutes it came out to my table and it was well done. They brought me out yet another one in less than 5 minutes again. I ordered the risotto and it was the worst I have ever had. All you could taste was cream and fake cheese... Everything is pre cooked here and when I walked by the kitchen, it did not look very clean... I would not advise anyone to spend their hard earned money on inferior quality food...

We were in for lunch on Mothers Day. The Colombia Restaurant had a 1 and a half hour wait, Henleys had ample immediate seating. (Red Flag). My wife had a burger that was so, so. I had a rib eye steak that was ok but a little tough. Service was awful. Our waitress never came around to check on our meals, and we had to get her attention to get another ice tea. As we were leaving another customer came to ask the hostess when they would be served. They were at their table for a half hr. and no one had come to even take a drink order. Another patron walked out. The restaurant again was not busy. No one in the bar area and main dinning area less than half full. Will not go back.

We strolled in and talked to the chef by chance whom arranged a wonderful filet and grouper plate for us. Try the Old Speckled Hen beer. Wonderful! Such a treat.

Amazing food ! I have tried the bar menu which is outstanding and am looking forward to there full menu said to be out Jan 2. The restaurant has great ambiance. This place is exactly what St Augustine needed I wish them all the success they deserve. Highly recommend you give this place a try

what an awful place, I don't like to make bad reviews, but this place was a total mess, and the worst part was the Manager Jaime, who really didn't care about customers, he was miserable, and exhausted. His excuses was people didn't come to work. I was a manager for years, if you are good at it, even and the worst situation, you smile and try to make things happen, but you didn't even make the attempt to give directions, people walking all over you, and you personally told me you have been doing this for 15 years....you have the wrong career. I'm sorry but this is a very bad and honest review
