        My takeaway is that I really loved the beer and had an impressive Reuben. Would come back...it's on my short list.

        Service was horrible beer was great. Food blah blah blah except for rueben the bomb tried to order ahead to go. Got a jerk on the phone told me they were packed. He lied. What terrible customer relations

        Great beer and food

        Many of the ingredients used here are locally grown. The menu is a welcome departure from the typical burgers and fries and the beer is excellent. I've always had excellent service.

        Schlafly redefined beer by creating the craft movement in St. Louis in 1991. From day one, our founders challenged the status quo with a diverse collection of flavorful styles brewed in small batches with traditional recipes and methods. We take our position as the first new brewery to open in STL since Prohibition very seriously. The Taproom has been and always will be a community brewpub for friends and neighbors to gather & enjoy a pint. While the majority of our brewery operation has moved to our Bottleworks location the Taproom still brews a very select 2,000 barrels per year.
