A1 has become top notch in the last couple of years. The selection (in Pinellas) rivals any of those "other" shops. Renee and Mark are quite the sales team - bring your wallet, you'll need it (LOL). We were very happy with the time taken to help us pick out our guns. We didn't feel intimidated or put off, more like family and friends. We left very happy and paid fair prices for our revolvers. If you're looking for in home CCW classes, make sure to ask.

I've been a customer at a-1 for a while now- and I have nothing but good to say about the store and it's employees, especially when it comes to the gun counter, which unlike the inept description of the first reviewer (who's IQ is questionble, maybe he had a head injury while in basic training) has actually got a nice little selection of 'goodies.' And- if they don't have what you're looking for, then they'll do their best to look it up on their wholesaler's data bases. Since Ruger released what is now the hardest gun to find (the LCP) they've been able to get a steady supply of them, providing a list of customers w/ the gun that they probably wouldn't be able to find otherwise... So I wouldn't trust gary2580 as far as the army could throw him! (out that is....)
