Advanced Dermatology - St Pete

If I could have gave them a rating of zero stars I would have. I had the unortunate experience of being seen by Stephan Levitt. During the visit which I paid cash for, Dr. Legit never even looked up from his clipboard until I mentioned the medication my previous dermatologist had me on. After mentioning he that he said wanted to continued try that and prescribed it for 6 months. He was very short and almost rushed me out of the room not even letting me finish asking questions I had prepared. Naturally I did not want to see him again so when time came I tried to schedule with my previous dermatologist, whom I only strayed from because her office is quite a drive, she was booked very far out and this would leave me without medication for a month. When I had my pharmacy send Dr. Levity a refill authorization he denied it. When I called the office to inquire as to why they stated it was because he wanted to see me first. When I told them that I would be seeing a different doctor from the same practice because I was not happy with my last visit that I pay cash for the office manager referred to me as lay people and basically told me he won't do it becaus i won't see him personally! I will now be without medication for a month because I refuse to waste my money on a visit with a doctor who will just write me a refill and kick me out without actually looking at and talking to me to make sure I am maxikiIng my treatment for the best results! I wouldn't recommend him to my enemy. I would however recommend Dr. Elena Garcia Cardona. She is wonderful and spends a lot of time looking at you and asking about your condition and asking what you want and are comfortable with. I would travel over seas to see her!
