The Complex

By and large, the worst venue in the city, or the state for that matter.



One time, I arrived an hour before the doors opened and still missed all of the openers, due to slow and unproductive staff at the door. Oh, and I was not there to see the main act, but the openers that I missed. I emailed the venue the next day about how my purchased ticket ensured the right to the entire show. I received an email many hours later, offering a ticket to a show that night. I agreed, but never got a response. I called when the doors opened and they ensured me that, no, I did not have a ticket and that I would not get in without purchasing one. I didn't go.

Another time, I was booted, as a staff member told me to go outside and use a different entrance, and then another staff member told me that there was no reentry. The bouncer came over, acted incredibly rude and walked me to the front gate to speak to the management. He informed them that I had attempted to hit him, and I was immediately sent out of the gate. I have never 'hit' anyone in my entire life.

The space is plentiful, and the acoustics are fine. However, the staff, and more importantly, the management, is completely inept, rude, and largely unprofessional.

If this venue did not fill a niche as the only indoor 2000-4000 capacity venue in the city, they'd be out of business in a second.
