        Wonderful Latte

        I went to Mystic Mocha with a friend after reading a couple of rave reviews, and found it just great. We both ordered lattes and shared a pastry. The latte was outstanding; maybe the best I've had here in San Diego. Only one other shop I've been to has rivaled this one - the latte was creamy and the flavor was a perfect mix of espresso and milk. The pastry was an apple cinnamon pumpkin concoction that tasted fresh and was very satisfying to my sugar addiction, even though it seemed as though the sugar content was quite low. We were there in the afternoon, after the kitchen had closed, so we weren't able to order off the menu, but it looked very good, and we plan to go back in the morning so we can try the breakfast. If you are an espresso drinker, I highly recommend trying this wonderful little coffee shop in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but just above Mission Valley.
