HIGHLY recommend Your Resume Booster to anyone who is in the job market. I sure wish I had them as a resource when I was applying to jobs.
These services will usually cost you hundreds of dollars (trust me, I know because I've been there and done my research).

For some background, I'm attended a Job Fair type event that was hosted by Resume Booster, and part of the event is a one-on-one resume review over the phone. I'm not currently on the job market but I would never turn down
a free resume review!! I strongly believe it's in everyone's best interest to stay up-to-date on resume tips & tricks so that you have them if you need them.


Scheduling my call was seamless, I simply went to the website and filled out their contact form and both Austin and Holly email. She provided me with great advice, such as the two main goals your resume is trying to achieve: what you're trying to do and what you bring to the table. Another main takeaways for me was that I don't want my resume reading like a job description (it should communicate results/metrics, etc.).

After the call, Holly shared some fantastic materials and information with me. The materials include a resume template, a sample resume, information on resume strategy, and two goals everyone should have in mind when writing a resume. I have all of this info on hand now for when I need a refresher. Yay!
